Module Overview

Every AWS resource you launch lives inside a network. In this module, you'll learn how AWS networking is designed, how traffic flows between your resources and the internet, and how to connect on-premises infrastructure to the cloud.

  1. Amazon VPC: Your isolated virtual network — subnets, gateways, and route tables.
  2. Security Groups vs NACLs: Two layers of network security and when to use each.
  3. Amazon Route 53: DNS resolution, domain registration, and routing policies.
  4. Amazon CloudFront: Caching content at edge locations for low-latency delivery worldwide.
  5. Hybrid Connectivity: Connecting your data center to AWS with VPN and Direct Connect.

By the end of this module, you'll understand the networking building blocks that appear on the AWS Cloud Practitioner exam and how they work together in real architectures.
