Module Overview

Before we dive into the "Cloud," we need to understand the ground it's built on. In this module, you'll trace the journey from physical hardware to global serverless networks.

  1. How the Web Works: The journey of a request from your browser to a server.
  2. The Physical Server: What lives inside the machines that power the internet.
  3. Traditional IT vs. Cloud: Why the old way of building data centers was slow, expensive, and fragile.
  4. Cloud Essentials: The formal definitions (NIST), deployment models (Public/Private), and the 5 key characteristics that define "Cloud."

By the end of this module, you'll speak the language of IT and understand exactly what makes a service "Cloud-native."
